Battle on the Columbia (Battle) is organized and directed by Master Lorraine Tucker-Reid who has been successfully hosting large scale tournaments since 2009.
Battle has grown from 50 competitors in its first year (2009) to nearly 200. In addition, it caters to the families and friends of the competitors which raises the attendance to around 400 people each year.
